WHAT IS SHOTGUN SHOOTING?
Shotgun shooting Sport involves using a smoothbore firearm to shoot at fast-moving targets, typically clay pigeons (“birds”) in organized sports like trap, skeet, and sporting clays. Designed to simulate hunting, these activities require quick reflexes to hit flying targets with a spread of pellets, often referred to as “pointing” rather than aiming.
